The figures show the changes to the local hydrological cycle due to urbanization and how it may be restored back with different degree of implementing local storage and infiltration systems. The top left is the water cycle under natural condition and the next to that shows the increase in surface flow which result in the decrease of flow to groundwater and the evaporation. By adopting implementing onsite systems at government facilities, including commercial facilities and including private households are shown in options 1 , 2 and 3.
